Royalty, Ryan and Rathbone

We are now two weeks into Elementary and I can speak for both of us and say that we're exhausted. CBS has heard our pleas and is giving us a week off! Due to the Vice President Debate on Thursday, Elementary is taking a week off. That doesn't mean we're taking a week off! We don't shy away from politics like some other major television network!

The plan is to review "A Scandal in Bohemia" on Tuesday. This is the beloved story with Irene Adler in it. To correspond with that, we shall be watching the Basil Rathbone movie Dressed to Kill, which is based off of that story.

(UPDATE) You can easily watch the film through the great Internet Archive, a site that lets you legally download public domain films for free like Dressed to Kill. http://archive.org/details/dressed_to_kill

We're looking for other Sherlock stories to cover on those weeks where Elementary decides to take a sick day. (Or when it's cancelled. Too soon?) If you have any recommendations, please put them in the comments and we'll add them to our list. Right now we know we want to talk about...

--The Great Mouse Detective
--They Might Be Giants
--Without a Clue
--The Robert Downey Jr. movies

And plenty more! In the future, we may even have you lovely readers vote on what we'll review when there isn't a clear tie-in to the story we're covering.

We hope you enjoy and thank you for reading!
